• SHYNE, Inc. experiences are exclusively designed for Black/African/Afro-indigenous people. DO NOT register if you do not identify with this. All payments are non-refundable. If you register and do not qualify, your payment will be applied as a donation towards the retreat.

• To qualify for the SHYNE sister discount, you must be a current member for the quarter in which you register. No exceptions.

​

• If you register for a Campgrounds room, you are responsible for bringing your own tent and camping supplies. These will not be provided. Email info@soarhigher.org to inquire about renting a tent on site.

​

• All payments made to SHYNE, Inc. are non-refundable. No exceptions.

​

• Registration includes retreat admission, all meals, workshops and supplies. It does not include transportation to/from the retreat or the cost for an optional Sweetgrass basket class that will take place on Sunday, 7/31. This class is $55/person.

​

• Sapelo Island is only accessible via Ferry. The cost for the Ferry is $5 round trip and is cash only. For Thursday, July 28th arrival, participants must be at the Ferry dock no later than 5pm EST. Ferry departs at 5:30pm sharp. For Friday, July 29th arrival, participants must be at the Ferry dock no later than 3pm EST. Ferry departs at 3:30pm sharp. Departure from Sapelo Island on Sunday, July 31st will take place as a group. We will take the 4:30pm EST Ferry back to the mainland.

• Transportation: all participants are responsible for their transportation to/from retreat. If you are booking a flight, we suggest flying into Jacksonville (JAX) or Savannah (SAV) which are both within an hour and 15 minute drive to location. Other options are Atlanta (ATL) which is a 4 1/2 hr drive or Brunswick (BQK), a small airport located within a 30 minute drive.

• This retreat is family friendly. Children (12 and under) are welcome. Cost is $111 per child for non-SHYNE members and $88 for current SHYNE members so long as registering adult is an active member for the quarter in which they register. 13+ are considered regular admission. Click here to register a child.
