SHYNE celebrates its diversity in the women that are drawn to our programming. There is no specific "type" of woman that fits the SHYNE mold as we recognize that every woman has her own unique story and journey. Our mission is to restore the well-being of Black people, which requires restoring the wellness of Black women. No woman is the same and we accept every facet of our uniqueness.

We also recognize that economic barriers can prevent individuals who align with our vision to take part in our dynamic retreats, which is why we offer select scholarships for individuals who demonstrate sincerity in embodying the next stage of their transformation.  We believe that women should have access to the tools and communities that will elevate their lives and families, which is why we offer a set of scholarships for those who express a financial need. With all the societal barriers that impact our livelihoods, SHYNE seeks to create opportunities that will allow Black women to take the first step in actualizing their liberation.
